Our Story

GlamCare was founded by husband-and-wife team Josey and Dr Ronél Hendriks, bringing together science, entrepreneurship and a shared passion for health and wellbeing.

Josey is an MBA-qualified entrepreneur who leads several successful businesses operating in South Africa and internationally. He brings the business vision and entrepreneurial drive behind GlamCare, while Dr Ronél, who holds a PhD in Microbiology, brings the scientific expertise and passion for skincare, healthy ageing and evidence-based wellness.

The GlamCare range grew from products Dr Ronél originally developed for herself as part of her own wellness journey. Each product is created with a clear purpose, using carefully selected, high-quality ingredients supported by science.

Although their journey began with GLAMIST Cosmetics in 2016, GlamCare has since evolved into a broader wellness brand founded on the belief that true beauty begins within. Dr Ronél has a particular passion for gut health, which she believes is the foundation of overall wellbeing, radiant skin and healthy ageing.

Through thoughtfully developed, science-based products, GlamCare aims to help people support their health from within, feel more confident and reveal their natural, healthy glow.
